1. Large Chimney with Bluestone Cap
Repointing of Chimney and installation of Bluestone cap
2. Chimney Extreme Repair
Chimney that was badly patched and deteriorated. Refinished with mesh and stucco. Flashing was neatly repaired with roofing cement.
3. Repoint Chimney with Granite Cap
4. New Brick Chimney
5. Chimney Repointing: Attic and Roof
Interior chimney in an attic, repointed and stabilized against damage.
Shown here is the process: After removing bad mortar and refilling gaps with mortar, a stabilizing layer of masonry wire and stucco is applied to the outer surface.
Up on the roof, the old chimney was also very weathered and missing a lot of mortar. Skilled repointing, re-flashing and tarring over the flashing made it look great again, and it should stay weather-tight for years to come.
6. Rebuild Chimney Base
I have seen some funky things in Masonry! Someone decided to build a BBQ in their Chimney :). The new owner got my team and I to restore it. This entailed cleaning off the old mortar stains , matching the existing brick and replacing the concrete in front of chimney.
Original state of chimney with Barbecue. Not to code.

7. Re-Flashing and Adding Chimney Caps
We pay careful attention to the condition of flashing between the chimney and roof to prevent leaks.
